Peek-a-boo

'Hey Mom! Whatcha doin'?
Every now and then, Speckles goes crazy, jumping from one piece of furniture to another.  Sometimes that includes jumping on the counter, to the fridge, to the top of the cupboard...at top speed.  This was the sight this morning.

Yesterday, I finally broke down and bought a new ironing board.  I was shocked to find out that the one I wanted cost so much.  I bought my last one 10 years ago.  I guess if I divide the price for the new one by ten years, it doesn't really cost that much.  Today is the first day using it.  It's a wide one and so much more sturdy than the last one.

Here's today block, Crown and Star - 61 pcs.

Crown and Star

Hope you had a good day.

  1. Oh great ironing board--I bought a cheapo at target (Tar-zay lol) and it wobbles like crazy...what kind did you get?

  2. Love the wide ironing boards. My brother built a top for mine so that it's rectangular, and I can iron a yard of fabric without the point getting in the way. It just sits right on top of my old top, so hubby can remove it when he wants to iron shirts. LOL!

  3. Cats are the funniest creatures! I love them. Your ironing board looks very stable and a good size. Think of all the beauties, like your Crown and Star block, that will be pressed on there!

  4. Looks like Speckles has a great perch to check out all things going on. Hope you are enjoying your new ironing board. I have one somewhere. I think My Guy was the last one to use it. Happy stitching this weekend.
